ZentRa 2000 Vintage Hand-Wound Watch

Vintage ZentRa German watch circa 1977. Runs very well, seem to be fairly rare. Carries with it a 17 jewelled Durowe 7422/2 movement bitting at 21,600 A/h giving the second hand a sweeping style more like a Rolex instead of the ticking style we're all so used to. There is a date function but to my knowledge it is the old kind where one has to actually run the hands of the watch around to get the date to change as opposed to the nice 2nd setting in more modern watches offering the quick-change dates we're more acquainted with. This was one of the very last movements made by the German watch movement factory Durowe. Another distinguishing characteristic is its Rufa anti-shock system where we find its swiss contemporaries using the Incabloc system. Some slight scratching on the bezel but the crystal looks pristine and I have a hunch it's been replaced recently. Overall a nice watch to have in your collection esp since German watches aren't something you see everyday.
