Fantastic yellow and brown banded agate stone pendant. The stone is oval shaped with some slight irregularities which adds to its uniqueness. The bail is textured and tapers down. The stone is polished and shiny. Would look so pretty with a silver chain. The bail is silver toned.

Banded agate's properties include its physical composition as a microcrystalline form of quartz (\(SiO_{2}\)) with a hardness of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, making it durable. Its defining characteristic is its colorful banding, which can be various colors, and it typically has a translucent to opaque appearance and a waxy luster.
