This gorgeous and very rare pedestal serving dish with lid was made by the William Brunt Potter Co. in East Liverpool Ohio, sometime between 1892-1911 according to the stamp on the base. The oval shaped bowl portion is on a scalloped pedestal base and has two handles. The lid has a lightly scalloped rim that hangs out over the rim of the bowl and an ornate handle on the top center. The main body of the pieces are white with a light blue shadow around the rims with gold trim. The piece is topped off with delicate transferware flowers with pink and yellow blooms.
