Vintage Stangl Mediterranean Cake Stand-Blue Green Splatter-Mid Century Pottery

This vintage cake stand is made from Stangl Pottery of Flemington, New Jersey, a celebrated American studio known for its hand-decorated stoneware. The Mediterranean pattern, introduced in the mid-1960s, reflects the era’s fascination with coastal color palettes and organic, painterly finishes. Featuring a vivid blue and green splatter glaze, this pottery was made between 1965–1978 and exemplifies Stangl’s expressive approach to functional décor. Originally designed for entertaining, it now fits seamlessly into mid-century modern, Italian coastal, boho, farmhouse, and collected kitchen interiors. A partial Stangl stamp remains visible on the underside of the plate, consistent with authentic production from this period.
