This is a great collectible racquet

American Mary K. Browne was one of the first professional woman tennis players, and won 13 total Grand Slam championships: three in singles, six in doubles and four in mixed doubles. In 1926-27, she played Suzanne Lenglen in a series of exhibitions, the first successful tennis professional tour in history. She helped Spalding design her Top-Flite racquet (see the ad in the photo section, from a book, Top Flite Tennis, that she wrote in 1928). She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1957.
