Vintage Scandinavian Goods: [Beresta] Russian Birch Bark Trinket Box

This is Beresta, a Nordic雑貨 (zakka) shop.
It's a traditional small container made of birch bark.

I don't know the details, but it seems my grandfather bought it as a souvenir when he went on a trip.
The original price tag is still attached.
(I tried to peel back a little bit of the edge, but the adhesive is almost gone, so it looks like it will come off easily.)

The picture on the lid looks like St. Basil's Cathedral.
The surroundings depict a birch tree-lined landscape, and a magnificent tree is also drawn on the bottom.

There are some stains here and there, but the body is very sturdy.
I think it's an item that can still be used for a long time.
I would be happy to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
