Rustic Ware vintage 10.25" serving bowl hand painted by R.R.P. Co, Roseville Ohio.
The bowl is beige with pinkish red flowers with blue centers accented by leafy foliage.
It is stamped Rustic Ware and has the number 311, presumably the pattern number.
The bowl is in good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There are some small dark spots that seem to have been formed during production, as they are under the glaze.
R.R.P Co. was formed by Frank Ransbottom and his brother in 1900. The company was the largest producer of stoneware jars by 1916. In 1920 the company merged with RRP Co and was producing stoneware until it closed in 2005.
