This is a rare, mint condition official government-issue uniform jacket manufactured by Lion Apparel and distributed by REI. Unlike most surplus gear, this piece looks nearly brand new and has been exceptionally well-preserved since 1997.
Condition: Mint/Near-Deadstock. No fading, pilling, stains, or holes. Elastic cuffs and waistband are crisp with full tension. The only sign of prior ownership is a name ("BOTT") written on the interior care label.
Classic "Bomber" style with a durable forest green nylon shell and a soft, warm gray fleece lining.
Authenticity: Features the official US Forest Service shield patch on the left shoulder. All original tags intact (dated Nov 25, 1997).
