Vintage Japanese black lacquer vanity - Jewellery Keepsake Box. Hand painted with stand out Carved Geishas In Traditional Kimonos, possibly mother of pearl. The item is lovely from the outside - some edge scuffs and chips to surface - some minor surface scuffs. Lovely closing mechanism Inside is more weathered and worn - imperfect Inside lime silk inner - this is imperfect with markings. The two ribbons holding top and bottom missing - can be easily replaced. The mirror is loose and needs a small amount of attention to refix under the green surface a I will post the mirror wrapped separately for safety Approx dimensions 28x20.5x10xm Definitely one for those who love the unique and things left untouched and as found.
