My Grandfather made this in the early 60s.
It is made from scrap parts from his mechanics shop.
It will accommodate nuts up to 1 1/2"..9 inches long, 3" wide. Chestnuts, pecans, Hazelnuts etc
You unscrew the screw to the width you need. Once placed pull back lever and then come down.
