Vintage Crewel Burlap Boho Chicken

This crewel has been embroidered or knitted on a burlap material and was framed. I took it out of the frame because it was so heavy. On the back is old masking tape holding the piece to the border that was in the frame. The border is approximately 13 x 18 and the actual burlap crewel piece is approximately 8 x 10. It depicts a cooked chicken or turkey as well as a knife. It’s actually very pretty and it’s an absolute pristine condition. It doesn’t appear to have been taken out of the frame until I did it.On the back is a very torn piece of paper that indicates possibly that this was entered into a contest for an award. It appears to have part of a students name and address along with a grade that the student was in which was grade 7-9. I believe it is from the 1960s or 1970s and from the Jackson, MS area. It is in great condition. Very unique. No torn or missing thread in the crewel itself. The burlap is intact. Looks good. Please review all pictures and message me with any questions.
