This gorgeous figurine is likely from the mid 20th century. This is a reproduction of a Chinese Tomb Figurine (yong). The story is the original figurines from the Tang Dynasty such as this camel with the face on the sides was placed in the tombs of the very wealthy in China. With the crazing on this camel you can tell the age. There are no cracks or chips, the felt that originally was on the bottom looks like it was removed, easily replaced. Great piece of art for any shelf.
