The fabric appears to be a heavy wool bouclé or tweed with a fantastic nubby texture in a saturated cherry red.
Condition Note: The exterior is in beautiful vintage condition. However, the interior silk/acetate lining has significant tearing at the underarms (see photos). Common with vintage of this era; it is wearable as-is.
