Vintage 1960s Yarn Caddy Cylindrical Box Bag Handbag Curdoroy Chevron Pattern

For your consideration is this vintage yarn caddy that was most likely produced in the 1960s. There is a hole in the top allowing the yarn to be pulled out neatly. Alternatively, this would make an amazing Cylindrical handbag with a mod fashion style. It is constructed of fiberboard with a metal bottom. Adhered to the fiberboard is a gorgeous chevron patterned corduroy fabric in green, blue, cream and black. I did lightly clean the piece, but there are some light age spots observed on the cream colored chevrons. These are not exceptionally noticeable. The black top and strap are vinyl. The bottom is metal, most likely tin. The bottom's exterior is covered with black vinyl as well. There is a lovely patina to the hardware. Noted is one strap bracket is loose. This could be easily rectified with reseating the bracket and applying Liquid Fusion to the inside of the bag. There is no maker's mark on the piece.
