Very good gently used vintage condition!
No chips, cracks or crazing!
There is only minor loss to the gilt edges and minimal loss to the hand painted flowers & stems in the center area of the dish.
12" Long x 9" Wide x 2" High
This dish is made in the shape of a leaf with texture and "veins" on the inside. Hand painted with turquoise, pink, yellow and purple flowers with gilt leaves, stems, etc. There are no maker's marks on this piece at all. There is evidence of a large sticker/label that was once attached but nothing to verify the maker. It has been suggested to me that this is Royal Worcester from the 1870's to the 1890's but I have no proof of that! It has also been suggested that it may be Mid-century modern (MCM). Either way, this is a unique and beautiful piece!
