Very rare original Maria Helena Portuguese Folk Doll. In great condition.Embroidered eyes and mouth as typical of Maria’s work.Still holding bundle of straw. Think she was known as the Harvester girl from what I’ve researched. Probably from 1950’s but given as a gift in 1962 as written on shoe. 18cm high. Lovely felt hat with flowers,Red spotted scarf, red apron, green cotton top and felt green pantaloons, red and white stripped stockings and leather moccasins
