This is a reproduction print of the famous Impressionist painting Two Sisters (On the Terrace) by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir professionally matted and framed behind plastic (not glass) in a plastic black and gold frame.
The original oil on canvas was painted in 1881.
The painting depicts two young women sitting on a terrace by the Seine River at the Maison Fournaise restaurant in Chatou, France. The older "sister" was an aspiring actress named Jeanne Darlot. The original painting is part of the permanent collection at the Art Institute of Chicago.
The print measures 10 & 1/2in x 13in and with the frame measures 18 & 1/2in by 22 & 1/4in.
