I read this book from the library , You will LOVE it , If you ever wanted to read the BIBLE and found it hard to understand this will so keep your interest you will not want to put it down. Makes reading the true BIBLE so much more easier and understanding

Best novel type Bible I have found. The author sticks to the truth, but makes the basic stories of the Bible understandable. I feel God's presence often in simple things, like understanding Rachel's feelings to help Jacob trick Issac for the blessing. I will keep it long term in my library. It is a cherished edition. I was going to look at the READER's DIGEST CONDENSED BIBLE, but this does the trick. If you want scholar scripture study or church study this would be a good supplement. One could read these smooth flowing accounts written by Buck then study the scriptures. It will give anyone a basic background.
