A rare "art book" by Joseph Kosuth, considered a leading figure in conceptual art alongside On Kawara.

In 1994, Joseph Kosuth created two installation works specifically for the Taylor Institution and the Theology Faculty of the Bodleian Library in Oxford as part of the "Reading Room Project."

This book presents these two works back-to-back: "The (Ethical) Space of Cabinets 7 & 8" is printed vertically, and "Say: I Don't Know" is printed horizontally. Both works juxtapose quotations from the writings of philosophers Voltaire and John Locke. The ideas explored in the installations are developed in this book through manipulations of the book format, such as die-cut windows, tracing paper pages, and two-color printing.
