The biggest party in the series' history is about to begin.
This time, the stage is a giant resort island with a beautiful ocean. Mario and his friends will travel around the islands, enjoying Sugoroku, minigames, and various new modes.
Sugoroku features five new boards and two remade boards. You can play Sugoroku with up to four people, and you can play online with friends, or enjoy it with people from all over the world in random matches, even by yourself. The minigames include over 110 types, the most in the series. There are various new minigames such as action, racing, and puzzles that require quick thinking, as well as minigames that use your body by shaking, tilting, or using the Joy-Con.
In the online mode "Koopaathlon," where 20 people compete, you'll aim for first place while battling rivals in minigames. Can you survive the 20-person survival mode...?
*Motion control games are not compatible with online play. Also, Joy-Cons are required to play.* Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch Pro controllers are not compatible with motion control games. You can still enjoy button-controlled games.
