This vintage clutch is made of black suede. It has two compartments. On the back is a wrist band, or strap. All edges are trimmed with steel cut beads, which have started to unravel. Beads made of cut steel have been used as far back as the 1700's. The idea was that during hard times, cut steel was a thrifty but sparkly alternative to diamonds. Purse has a snap closure. Circa 1920's. Size: 7¾ inches long x 4½ inches wide. Clutch has no rips, worn spots or stains and is smoke-free. This item will ship USPS First Class Mail.
