What is Soul of Australia, you may ask? Coogi originally called itself “Cuggi” (1969–1987). When they rebranded as Coogi in 1987, they began exporting more globally. During that time, their marketing phrase was “Coogi — The Soul of Australia.” Many authentic vintage Coogi sweaters from the 80s–90s have tags or labels that include this phrase. Just a little back history for ya!!!
This particular Coogi is believed to be made in the late 1980's to early 1990's and is considered to be from a premium line hence the gold lettering.
