Not satisfied with starting from specially ordered fabric, Nigel Cabourn's classic shirt, the British Officers Shirt, uses weft threads that are originally made from the selection and blending of cotton short fibers that make up the yarn, starting from the spinning process of yarn making. This shirt takes about 6 months from production start to product completion. That is, 2 months for yarn making, 2 months for fabric, and 2 months for the product. If we purchased ready-made fabric from a fabric store and made it into a product, it would take about 2 weeks at the fastest.
Even so, we have not changed this manufacturing method at all since we started making this classic shirt.
We pour our heart and soul into a seemingly ordinary Oxford shirt, just one piece of fabric.
