I was listening to it after replacing the belt with a new one.
Unlike auto-reverse machines, which are prone to failure, this is a one-way machine with a simple structure, so it's relatively durable.
Anti-rolling mechanism equipped.

Cassette playback, fast forward, and rewind are possible.
The interior has been cleaned with a cleaner.
Head and pinch roller cleaned with a special solution.
It operates on two AA batteries, making the power supply easy to obtain and reliable.
It has more power and produces a fuller sound than slim models that use gum-type batteries.
White noise is strong. It's a model that's surprisingly considered to have good sound quality among budget models.

One of the earphones didn't produce sound.

When I used other earphones, sound came from both sides.

To my untrained ear, there doesn't seem to be any wow and flutter. The sound quality is also decent, and it has the spatial sound typical of SONY.

It works at the moment, but it's old, so please consider it as a junk item and don't expect high sound quality.

Due to the nature of cassette tapes, please lightly wipe the head frequently with a cotton swab. The loss of high frequencies and muffled sound are indicators.
