RARE PORCELAIN JOINTED DOLL "VERENA" BY FAMOUS GERMAN DESIGNER SONJA HARTMANN

With only a couple Sonja Hartmann dolls left to put on eBay I think this one is the best of my lot. This is Verena, a 21 inch porcelain doll with a soft cloth body under her porcelain breastplate with jointed shoulders, porcelain arms with jointed wrists and porcelain legs with jointed knees. She has brown hair that is parted in the middle and styled into two braids that are tied with peach satin ribbons around her ears on each side of her head. Verena has hand painted light brown eyebrows with big blue eyes that are lined with real eyelashes on her upper lids and hand painted ones on her bottom lashes. She has a cute nose, rosy cheeks and a closed smile with peach lips. Her face is so very sweet!
Her original dress is made of a peach satin with a tiny stand-up collar, long mutton sleeves and fastens closed in the back with two little white snaps. Over this dress, Verena wears a white cotton pinafore with hand-embroidered peach flowers with green leaves in a square around the necK.
