This is a SCARCE Book! It is an attractive 5" x 7¼" volume, bound in light tan cloth with gold-stamped military designs on the front cover and spine and top edge gilt.
"The book is a historical novel about a young man from New Castle who enlists in Haslets First Delaware Regiment in June 1776. It traces the history of the unit through many battles and the winter at Valley Forge."
Book is in Good condition. Corners are bumped a bit. The gilt on the top page edges has faded and has some scratches. Gilt on cover and spine is in Very Good condition. Lean to the spine. Other wear/rubbing to the covers. Interior is in Good condition. Some bent corners of the pages. A couple of pages have some missing sections from the margins, but does not affect the text.
