What a wonderful opportunity. A stunning Vintage outfit that has been selected to be part of The Met’s Art collection. Yes…Fashion is Art.
The outfit is in Perfect Conditon. It looks new. My mom was a model in the 1970s and I would bet she wore it for a runway show. She was able to keep the outfit and kept it well stored.
Measurements are in the photos. Please note Knit fabrics typically have more stretch than woven fabrics. A knit size 10 might offer a more flexible fit or could fit a slightly larger range of measurements than a non-knit garment of the same size. The current state of the garment is as it was made a Size 10
