Ed Ruscha (1937-) is an American contemporary artist who uses words and advertising images to develop conceptual art in paintings, photographs, prints, films, etc. He takes motifs from the urban landscape of Los Angeles, car culture, and everyday phrases, and is associated with Pop Art, although he often dislikes being called Pop Art. He expresses American landscapes and culture through visual language. I think it would make a wonderful interior decoration even if framed individually.
