First, Mecari takes a fee. (On something priced $28; the $24 left has to cover the figure; which most of the time I buy on Mecari-many of them, collector’s items. I pay the cost, tax and shipping to get it to me. I buy figures specifically to make charms. These aren’t old toys my children have outgrown.)
-The labor (about an hour each charm)to drill figure; bead up 12+ dangles; loop and attach with jump rings by hand (I don’t use a looping tool)
-the costs of beads, charms, hardware and packaging.
After costs- I make less than $10 for my time.
Charms are jewelry. They are not indestructible. Care should be taken not to excessively tug or pull on it. Like anything else that “dangles” it can get caught on something, and with enough force-break. I do not refund or replace charms
