This is a kebaya, a traditional costume purchased in Malacca. The color is mint green; the fourth photo is the closest representation. The embroidery is beautiful, even on the reverse side.
Peranakan culture is the result of Chinese immigrants who came to Malaysia and built their wealth there. It's a unique culture, with everything from clothing to furnishings and tableware being lavish and extravagant. Malacca became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2008.
