Viking/New Martinsville Glass Janice Double Taper Candlestick Holders Art Deco fleur de liss
This is a New Martinsville or Viking Glass Janice Fleur-de-lis double taper candlestick holder.
It is made of clear glass and features an Art Deco style with a prominent fleur-de-lis in the center.
The design is a reproduction of an antique "lacy pressed" candlestick pattern from the 1830s-1840s.
Viking produced this design after acquiring the New Martinsville Glass Company in 1944. This set is considered collectible MCM vintage art glass.
Manufacturer: New Martinsville Glass Company (1920s-1940s) and Viking Glass Company (1940s-1970s).
Pattern/Shape: Known as the "Janice" pattern, shape number 4536.
Material: Clear "elegant" glass.
