Pair Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Vases, Ladies & Boys
• Dimensions: Each vase is approximately 6.25 inches (15.8 cm) in height (verified via measuring tape photo), with a flared rim, cylindrical body, and circular foot—classic sleeve vase (tongjing ping) form used for flower arranging or tabletop display.
Decoration: Painted in rich underglaze blue with a continuous garden scene: elegant ladies holding books, playful boys at their feet, and banana trees (a symbol of peace) framing the composition. The brushwork is detailed and typical of 19th-century Qing figural porcelain.
• Condition: The pair is in excellent antique condition with minor age-related wear: faint glaze specks, small old paper labels to the rims, and minor wear to the foot rims. One small chip inside one of the vase. No cracks, or restorations (all condition details visible in photos).
