Old Ivory "Sherwood" Syracuse O.P. Co footed covered sugar bowl and creamer. c. 1949-67. Made in America. Sherwood was one of the 500 most popular patterns of the twentieth century. Designed by Ed Otis and supposedly inspired by Robin Hood (hence the blue laurel) This U.S. made pattern features a leaf and berry blue border, dotted with yellow.
Rich gold trim on finial as well as edges. This set is in Excellent condition - No chips. cracks or crazing noted on these beauties. Proudly & lovingly cared for.
