Extremely rare Nike Kolat 2000 - University of Illinois SAMPLE / PE pair in size 13. These were never released to the public and were made only for the Illinois wrestling team around 2000–2001. Inside tag shows “ORACLE IB”, a single production date (10-24-00), and sample-style barcode, clear indicators of an internal Nike sample, not a retail pair.
Style code 418000-481 matches the Illinois navy/orange team colorway, and the large embroidered “I” on the tongue was only used for team-issued shoes. Condition is heavily worn but intact. Extremely hard to find, true sample/PE Kolats almost never appear for sale. Perfect for collectors of Nike wrestling, NCAA gear, PE/samples, or Illinois memorabilia.
Kolat 2000s were Cary Kolats first signature wrestling shoe. Only one college team, University of Illinois, had a release of the Kolat 2000 unlike other Kolat series shoes like the 2K4s. Structurally these shoes are still sound and intact and can be wrestled in if desired.
