This model is an arrangement of the "998" shoe, which first appeared in 1993 and features "ABZORB" cushioning. Inspired by "Raso Gommato," a material that is a thin cotton satin bonded to a membrane and protected by ultra-lightweight polyester mesh to prevent pigment absorption during garment dyeing, which is a signature of Stone Island, the design incorporates special materials such as cotton canvas with a polyurethane rubber coating and nubuck leather.
The color scheme uses muted tones such as mauve, deep plum, and copper maroon, creating a decadent yet sophisticated mood. The "N" logo on the body is a reflector that shines in the dark.
