This is a US military specification MA-1 flight jacket (Mil-Spec compliant), a contract item (or of the same specifications) that Alpha Industries supplied to the US Air Force.
Made in the 1980s. F4 patch on the left shoulder. Two pen caps that were attached to the pen case from the time of purchase are still remaining.
Patches were also attached to the left and right chest and the right shoulder, but they are not currently attached. There are some remaining stitch marks from the patches.
There is some pilling on the collar, sleeves, and hem.
It has considerable heat retention. It's perfect for the cold autumn and winter seasons ahead.
