This is a model commemorating the 40th anniversary of Right-on, inspired by the clown pants made for sales promotion in the 1970s.
It has a REDTAB that is more than twice the size of the regular model, making it impactful enough to recognize as a Levi's(R) product from afar.
The Big E, which had not been recognized except for the official reproduction of LEVI'S VINTAGE CLOTHING (LVC Levi's Vintage Clothing) since the 1970s, has been revived for the first time in about 40 years.
The hem is cut-off, suspenders prevent it from slipping even when oversized, and it also has belt loops, so it can be worn in either style.
