Large Antique Carnival Kewpie Style Doll with Original Owner's Story

This adorable 1930s Composition Carnival Kewpie Doll comes with the original owner's handwritten description of the doll's history. The doll stands at approximately 15" tall and wears its original skirt and headband. I added more feathers and some "bling" to her original costume. These additions are not permanently adhered and can easily be removed if you want her back to her original state. I did some minor touch-up painting on her eyes and boots, sealing the paint to ensure longevity. Her mohair isn't in the best condition, and she has some bare spots on the back of her head (typical for this style of doll). Her composition is rough in some places, and she has some paint lifting on the sides of her body and legs. Please refer to all pictures for condition and don't hesitate to ask questions.
