Width 30, depth 22, height 22.5 cm. The inner dimensions of the drawer are approximately width 27, depth 19, height 5.5 cm.
The manufacturer is unknown, but it is an antique Kamakura-bori (carved lacquerware) small item box made by a woodworking workshop in the Shizuoka area.
I believe this is an item filled with the attention to detail of a first-class craftsman, and you can feel its dignity and high quality.
The top board, both sides, and the front board are elaborately carved with vibrant, hand-carved camellias, showing the time and effort put into the piece.
I think this is an item that makes you feel happy just by looking at it.
As it is an old item, there may be some scratches, but I have repainted and maintained it as the luster had faded.
