TADANORI YOKOO ISSEY MIYAKE 0 presents eight of Mr. Yokoo's iconic and powerful paintings from the 1960's in a special series of blouson jackets. A-POC technology has been chosen as the means to recreate the artworks in a textile, and by weaving precisely 7 vivid colours of recycled polyester thread in a way that is faithful to the original painting, the blouson transforms into an art piece. Through this weaving process, the inside of each blouson reveals a inverted impression of Mr Yokoo's work in unexpected colors. This style features the artwork "Razor" (1966). This unisex blouson has an oversized, sporty shape that is lightweight, yet structured. It features ribbing on the collar, cuffs and hem made with advanced Steam Stretch technology.
