This dorm-sized zippered mattress protector in size Twin XL does have a small scrape mark on bottom from the bed frame (see photo). But there are no holes, rips, or tears at all. It is in otherwise excellent condition and the zipper works perfectly. It seals out any dust mites, pests, allergens, etc. This was only used briefly in a dorm before she moved into an apartment. This was purchased new and was pretty expensive, so perfect for someone who needs this for a mattress or box spring in a dorm room.
