This Georges Briard serving tray, from the mid-20th Century, is an engineering marvel as well as a beautiful piece of glassware. Looking from the top, there is a dominant silver color, coming from both the central floral graphic and the silver-deposited rim and tray dividers. Hold it up to eye
level, and the dominant color becomes yellow; turn the bottom side up and you see why. The underside graphic, rims, and dividers are all bright yellow; unlike their silver counterparts, however, the yellow is all under glass! Just amazing.

The tray has no chips or cracks. There is both tarnish and loss on the silver surfaces. The tray is 11-5/8” across and 1-5/7” high.
