This is a framed and matted vintage image from Eric Gurney. This Canadian-American illustrator and cartoonist was well known for his humorous images that often included pets. This image is from his book series - The Calculating Cat and The Calculating Cat Returns. This image shows a whole group of not just calculating cats but, pampered ones! This charming cartoon has been cut-out from a vintage copy of the book and matted in a unique red acid free oval opening mat. The matted image is in a vintage brass or brass tone frame with embossing and delicate designs. The frame has a few vintage/age marks but it is an exceptionally nice style that can be hard to find.
