Floral Brooch hand Assembled, Dimensional flower, 1930s-1940s signed FLS C clasp

Exceptional early workshop brooch by Fashion Link Systems (FLS), New York, dating 1930s to mid 40s. This sculptural floral design features hand-assembled brass components with applied leaf plates, flowing openwork stems, and a richly colored & raspberry red foil-backed glass rhinestone set in tall prongs at the center.
Brooch is constructed using early bench techniques with individually soldered elements, hand-finished stems, and an original rolled tube hinge and pin assembly with C clasp. European-influenced styling reflect the transitional period between late Art Deco and early mid-century floral design. Original gold wash remains with beautiful natural patina developed over decades. Stone is secure but chipped, Pin, hinge, and catch are all original and fully functional.
