Product Details:
This model is a reproduction of the 501ZXX (501 zipper version) from the late 1950s to the early 1960s, and is Levi's Japan's first vintage reproduction (replica). The pocket lining reads "For over 140 Years".
This 502 reproduction was released around 1987 and underwent a model change in 1991.
It is called the early version and the late version, with the late version being more valuable.
Both are made in Japan, but the late version uses reproduction denim from Cone Mills, which is why it is considered more valuable.
There are two points to distinguish them.
The late version has "67502" on the inner tag, and the selvedge is narrow and twill-woven. The tag only says 502, without "XX".
This is an early model because the tag says 502XX and the selvedge is wide and plain-woven.
