Excellent Antique Hocking Mayfair Pink Depression Pressed Glass Open Rose Princess Cookie Jar & Lid
The Mayfair pattern, also known as Open Rose, produced by Hocking (prior to Anchor) from 1931 to 1937
Features an embossed floral & vine pattern
Original 8 sided knob & presentation of V as well as the pressed glass edges of the lid makes it from the 30s. Missing bottom ring which is present in some originals
Approximate Measurements: 5" width of base, 7.25" tall with lid, Opening: 4.25" wide rim to rim, 4.8" deep inside, Weighs: 2lbs 3oz without packaging
Purchased at an upscale estate sale
No chips or cracks noted but some bubbles etc
