This exercise aimed to design and produce a T-shirt inspired by a specific phobia. I chose “vestophobia” (the fear of clothing or dressing), which required a careful approach in terms of both symbolism and aesthetics. The design reflects the psychological tension experienced by individuals with this phobia, incorporating elements of pressure associated with wearing clothes. Additionally, a large portion of the T-shirts back was filled, creating a sense of entrapment and disrupting the comfort that garments typically provide. This enhances the emotional interaction with the consumer, reinforcing the concept behind the design. Wash temp 30°C preferably by hand.
