This is from a collection of patches from the 1950s to 1970s from Bosch Embroidery, Inc. which was a large patch company in the mid-west that closed 40+ years ago that were in storage for decades. These are not repops and are original to the time period and in amazing condition.
This type of patch that was worn on the Jackets of the employees.
This is the Cloth Coffey's Transfer Company patch, which is an original trucking company patch and has a really interesting history in the labor industry.
From what I understand, Jimmy Hoffa tried to strong arm the owner into joining the union, and later, Tom Coffey later testified against Hoffa.. **
Looks like this is from the 1950s as it is a cloth patch that was sewn on to.a uniform..
Size: Almost 1.6" high and 4.8" inches across and near mint/ Mint condition, and never applied.
This one is in great shape.
