The pin is handmade from a glitter fabric, that is treated to stay stiff and attached to a rhinestone spacer. At the back there's a combo of an alligator clip & pin bar.
With the clip the pin can be attached to a large chain and thus becomes a necklace. (example in one of the photos)
The chain does NOT come with the butterfly pin.
