Bennington Potters Set Of 7 Double Egg Goblet Style Vintage Stoneware Cups #1890
**Extraordinarily Rare!**
David Gil started the Bennington Potters Cooperative in 1947. This cooperative later became the Bennington Pottery that is still producing quality pottery today. David Gil's work received notice in several prominent exhibitions, including the "Good Design" exhibitions organized by the Museum of Modern Art.

It has been reported that David Gil numbered his designs starting with 1300, and ending with 2100 at his death in 2002. This is a set of seven egg cups designed by David Gil.

They are a beautiful warm two-tone glaze. These rare goblet-style egg holders feature a double-cup design, perfect for serving soft or hard-boiled eggs in true mid-century style.

* Condition: Very good vintage condition with very little wear. No chips, cracks or crazing. As with any handcrafted piece of pottery and considering the organic nature of the material, there may be minimal imperfections.
